Thing 23
I found an example at this site. I will not only use Creative Commons to decide how I would like my works to be used, but I will also pay attention to how others would like their work to be used. Creative Commons provides an avenue for myself and others to have access to such information.
Thing 22
I listened to OUR OCEAN WORLD: underwater canyons. The best and easiest directory to use was Podcastdirectory.com. It was easy to navigate and had a great variety of podcasts. I also thought the page in general was not as cluttered. I think that I would use it especially on indirect lesson days. I might also would use it to review key ideas about a lesson prior to a test or quiz. I really did like the Our Ocean World. I would probably listen to it or use it in a classroom project.
Thing 19
I am currently a member of facebook and myspace. At one point and time I was a live journal member but I ended up leaving that site. I really was interested in TeacherPop. The site is a professional gold mine. It is also a great way to stay in touch with my professors at APSU once I graduate. I really enjoyed it. I also like that I can stay in touch with my classmates and we can share ideas and resources through teacher pop once we part ways and head into the school systems.

Thing 21
I really liked this site. It was alot of fun creating the lil video. This would be very fun to use for field trip pictures. My video features my friends and my animals. I also really dig the song that I picked as background music.
Thing 20
I love you tube, but it is very addicting. I like that there is such a global community that uses the site. I chose this video because my mother in law secretly put this video up of my husband and me putting a bifold door in our new house. Yes thats correct, I am a youtube star! (my cat too). I think that it would be great to use this site to put together a set of lessons which children can view from home. It would also be helpful if a child misses a lesson at school they can go on you tube and watch it, they will get all the benefits of being there. I think that it could be used in a library. A librarian could video her/himself reading a book of interest and the students could look it up on the site and listen to the book being read to them. That could also help out ESOL students.
Thing 18
It is very important to know how these sites work because lots of people (including children) are using these sites. I myself have had accounts in each since high school. Facebook is more private than myspace but myspace can be more creative because you can design how it looks. I think that they both have good and bad. I like myspace because of the design factor and that you can add music to your page. I like facebook because of the set up and the messenger capabilities. I believe that facebook is the better of the two. It could be beneficial to set up a class site and parents could link it to their facebook or myspace and stay up to date on the goings on in the classroom.
