Thing #12 :)

I tried several different google tools but the two I felt were the most useful were calendar and igoogle. The calendar is an essential tool in my life that I have to have every day. This would be a great way to keep your students and parents aware of important due dates and up coming events. igoogle was very interesting. I found that it was a great way to get lots of information about what is going on in my day and what is going on in the world. Also, I added a few little fun things to lighten up my often on the run day such as funny cat pictures, a turtle and optical illusions. I liked the way I could also link my calendar into igoogle and keep a to do list at the ready. I would use this to keep students aware of what is going on in the world and maybe try to link educational games or fun extra credit books. Both were very useful tools.
